Research is done to obtain relevant record information for the subject property and a field survey is performed to locate pertinent physical evidence. The record and physical evidence are analyzed by the surveyor and a boundary determination is made using appropriate land surveying standards. Sufficient monumentation is set at lot corners and along lot lines as needed to satisfy project requirements.
A plan prepared and certified by a registered land surveyor depicting a property’s boundary lines and the location(s) of existing and/or proposed structures (houses, foundations, decks, etc.) with dimensions to the front, side and rear lot lines. Plot Plans are generally used for permitting purposes and are prepared in conformance with applicable City/Town regulations.
Construction plans are interpreted and office calculations are performed utilizing CAD software. Proposed improvements are staked out in the field in accordance with contractor requirements.
A field survey performed to locate observable site features including but not limited to buildings, walks, fences, pavement, wetland resources and utilities (surface and subsurface). Property boundary lines and easements may also be determined as part of this service.
A field survey performed post-construction to locate new structures. As-built surveys are typically done to satisfy City/Town permitting requirements.
Prepared and certified by a Registered Land Surveyor and suitable for recording at the applicable County Registry of Deeds.
